Pam Moraga joined Abacus in 2013 and is Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. She collaborates across the U.S. Federal Government market (Civilian, DoD, and Intelligence Community) to develop and pursue technology-based solutions that address rapidly changing mission imperatives. In addition, as the officer in charge for the Intelligence Community Sector, she provides strategy, executive leadership and management oversight in this new market for Abacus.
Previously, Pam was the Director of Business Development at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems where she led and won highly visible corporate level new business pursuits. She is credited for re-establishing the business as a prime contractor in the geospatial intelligence market.
Pam is a seasoned executive with proven results managing large, complex programs or business pursuits, tackling operational challenges, and developing new business. Her career is punctuated by success across diverse industries including aerospace and defense, management consulting, information technology (IT), government, and manufacturing. Pam is a proven expert in leading large-scale technology-enabled business transformations and organizational change engagements. She held leadership positions with other widely known enterprises such as Lockheed Martin, General Electric, IBM Global Services, Hewlett-Packard, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Pamela is a Vietnam Era Veteran with the U.S. Army Signal Corps in Europe.
Pam’s other credentials include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin (Summa Cum Laude), IBM certified systems integration/application development consultant, graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program, and Professional Capture Manager Certification. Pamela is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma – National Honor Society in Business, Potomac Officer’s Club, AFCEA International, and the American Legion. She is also an active participant in USGIF activities.
